Thermal Transfer
Thermal transfer labels use a combination of heat and a ribbon. The printer applies heat to the ribbon, which then transfers ink onto the label, creating the printed image or text.
Direct Thermal Labels
Direct thermal labels work by using a heat sensitive coating on the paper. When heat is applied to the paper through a thermal printer head, the areas that are heated turn black, creating the printed image or text.
Flexographic (flexo) print involves a flexible ink roller which applies ink directly to the substrate. Precise die cuts allow us to create intricately designed labels using this print method.
Sheet labels are adhesive labels designed to fit standard A4-sized sheets, typically used for printing multiple labels at once using inkjet or laser printers.
